The Transitions have 20 years experience of live performances from small gatherings to corporate events including playing to 5,000 people at The Mile One Stadium in St John’s, Canada. We have delighted many a happy couple and their guest’s as well as providing many a giggle, dance and sing-a-long at birthday parties etc across the South West and beyond. Of course we are also proven veterans on the pub circuit.

The Transitions are a covers outfit with songs ranging from Cash to The Clash and Motorhead to Madness now also offering original material..

Does size matter?

In the case of The Transitions, no. Just because The Transitions are a 2 piece band, doesn’t mean that their sound can’t pack a punch. Unlike most duo's on the market, The Transitions make use of every limb on their body and employ techniques and skills that give them added weight behind their sound (without the use of drum machines), so even compared with a traditional band, The Transitions can sound bigger, fuller and (we think) better. This is why The Transitions are considered a " band " just like The Black Keys, The White Stripes, The Ting Tings, Tenacious D, They Might Be Giants, Pet Shop Boys, Daft Punk, Hall & Oats, Erasure, Royal Blood and many more, and not a duo.
