These are typical prices for The Transitions to rock up at your house, garden or hired venue etc.

Depending on where you are there may be additional fees for travel etc.

How playing times work.

The duration above refers to 2 consecutive hours or 3 consecutive hours. Our breaks are within the 2 or 3 hour period.

For example: 2 hours could be 9pm until 11pm or 9.30 pm until 11.30pm or 10pm until 12am or any 2 hour period you wish (within reason).

The break is within the 2 hour period. So if you wanted us to start at 9pm we would play 9pm until 9.45pm, then have a break until 10pm and then play again from 10pm until 11pm. The total playing time within a 2 hour gig is 1 hour and 45 mins (105 mins).

A 3 hour set most often for us consists of a 75 min set, 30 min break followed by another 75 min set. For example 9pm until 10.15pm, 30 min break and then 10.45pm until 12am (We can play your iPod etc through our speakers during breaks if you wish).

Alternatively a 3 hour set could be 3 x 50 min sets with a 10 min break between each set. For example 9.10pm until 10pm, 10.10pm until 11pm and then 11.10pm until 12am

You may prefer us to take 2 x 15 min breaks which would mean we would play 2 x 45 mins and 1 x 60 mins. For example 9pm until 9.45, 15 min break, 10pm until 10.45pm, 15 min break, 11pm until 12am

In all cases a 2 hour gig has a total playing time of 1 hour and 45 mins (105 mins) and a 3 hour gig has a total playing time of 2 and a half hours (150 mins).

 

Notes

If it's possible to reserve a space for our van close to the loading door area it would be appreciated and aid us to get set up quicker. If this is not possible please try to make sure we can park close to where we are playing to unload and then park. Again if parking is minimal but you are able to reserve us a space nearby this will help us get set up much quicker.

We require a 3 pin (like you have at home) electricity supply.

Please let us know if drinking water is avaiable. You would be surprised how often it isnt!

Please feel free to hand us your MP3 player to use during breaks through our PA system.
