Karlos first clutched a bass guitar when he was about 19 and he started jammin. Determined to play bass he became a recluse and played his bass relentlessly. His first gig was at The George and Vulture in Dorchester in 1992.

Eventually fronting the band Juice, with highlights such as tracks being used on the Extreme Sports channel, kids ITV show Globo Loco, The Laureus World Sport Awards as well as playing tons of gigs all over the UK with the worlds largest extreme sports show team at skateparks all over the country. They landed sposorship deal in the form of a flow deal (free stuff) from Animal and Freespirit. They even played to 5,000 people at the Mile One arena in St Johns Canada, NASS extreme sports festival yearly, and supported Run DMC and The Stone Temple Pilots..

Juice ran it’s course and Toned F (later becoming The Transitions)was born. No other band that Karlos has ever been in was a full time job but being in The Transitions very quickly was!
